@Matthew, actually that’s a good question. It is not technically a re-do. When you undo something (ctrl + Z) the computer adds that to a virtual stack. using this undo an undo method deletes that stack. An easier way to understand it is this, if you are reading a book and go back from page 100 to 99 (ctrl + z) and then go back again from 99 to 98 (ctrl + z) and then you choose a random page like 50, trying to go back a few times to get to page 100 again will not work as it is lost in the stack, but deleting the stack helps you to get back to the right ‘line’ you want.

Oh by the way, that god mode trick mess up your windows explorer for whatever folder you try to put it in. I would advise NOT USING THIS TRICK!!! If not for some quick debugging, I would have lost everything in my documents and user folder (a lot of stuff).
